Biography

I consider myself a multi-potentialite, a qualified electrical Technologist, Substation primary designer and an Electrician with an installation license (wireman’s license). I have over 19 years of experience in the electrical engineering field. The majority of these years were spent at Eskom Distribution Division, I was responsible for the electrical design of the MV & LV network, including electrification projects. I also have experience in the operating and maintenance of the distribution network, both overhead and underground.

At Eskom Substation Engineering, I was responsible for the electrical designs of the primary plant and modification of the Eskom transmission substations nationally. I'm a team player and have acquired project management experience and skill through engaging with stakeholders and stepping out of my comfort zone, to understand the project lifecycle from A-Z.

I am goal driven, a dedicated hard worker and passionate about what I do and feel blessed to do what I love. The sky is the limit when it comes to my personal and career development. I currently serve as a committee member of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineering's Central Gauteng Centre and portfolio lead for Education, Training and Development.
